Malloy Funerals & Cremations lives in a two-story, historic mansion built in the Southern Colonial style. Our grand location has been painstakingly preserved and remains as beautiful today as it was when it was built in 1930. Visitors will be awed by its graceful archways, vast ceilings, and hand-carved trim, and feel comforted by its soft colors and wealth of natural lighting. Numerous original antique pieces and other Early American furnishings create an open and elegant atmosphere for your service.
The Gathering Room
This serene space, large enough for 160 seated guests, is the perfect blend of old warm charm and modern features. If you plan to feature a tribute video, our built-in projector with retractable screen makes it seamless. You can also feature your loved one’s favorite music, including live performances, with the assistance of our state-of-the-art sound system and Kawai digital piano. You also won’t find pews here, which can limit your seating options. Instead, we provide Tell City rose chairs that can be arranged in whatever way is most convenient for you and your family. We offer private seating and restroom facilities for family members, as well as an informal seating area adjacent to the foyer, allowing guests to visit outside of the Gathering Room.
We can help you host your guests for a simple, intimate reception, or a full banquet for dozens of people. The impressive space can accommodate up to 60 people, seated, or 85 people, standing.
You, and your guests, will enjoy hot coffee, bottled water, lemonade and homemade cookies.
