Anne Bertolino Vicevich, 91, of Galveston, passed away Friday, September 21, 2012, at her residence. She was born July 27, 1921, in Galveston, and graduated from Ursuline Academy in 1938. She worked for American National Insurance Company until 1943 when she accepted a job as an accountant for Amoco Oil, retiring in 1981. Anne married Alexander John Vicevich in May, 1953, at Sacred Heart Church, and he was the love of her life for the next 59 years.
Anne was preceded in death by her parents, Frank and Rena Bertolino; brother, Sonny Bertolino; and sisters, Rosalie Cantrell and Pauline Murphy; and husband, Alex.
She is survived by her sister, Frances Lidstone, and a host of nieces and nephews.
Anne’s family will receive visitors beginning at 8:45 am, Tuesday, September 25th, at Sacred Heart Church. Funeral Mass will be at 9:30 am at the church with entombment following at Mt. Olivet Cemetery in Dickinson.
