Ted Hanley left a message on September 14, 2022:
Dear Friends, Our lives have been intertwined in many ways for many years. It has been an honor and a privilege to consider you family - more than friends. My role with Johnny and Anne brought us all closer and introduced Anne to her beloved accordion. Thank you for inviting me to participate in her services - it's a honor. We've all been through a lot in the past few years and I know the difficult times have made me admire and respect wonderful people, like your parents so much more. In face, everyone and everything seems more important and more precious. God was generous in that I was here to say goodbye to Anne and to see all of you. My sincere condolences at the loss of Anne and my on-going prayers for your entire family. Sincerely, Ted Hanley

I was sorry to hear of Anne's passing. We were classmates at Sacred Heart School at a time when life was much simpler, where we were one big family. Anne taught us to be kinder people. About 10 years ago I saw her walking in Galveston, and pulled over, told her who I was. She declined the ride but had shared that she had gotten married and worked with The Jesse Tree. She seemed happy. Wishing you comfort during your time of grief. Eva Eva Filidei Cavazos
