Peace of mind is a call away. We’re here when you need us most.
Dear Rhonda, Bubba, Aunt Sue, Uncle Glen, and others in the family... Daddy probably punched his lights out before giving him the biggest hug he could, when he met Uncle Arlan on the other side. Imagine the smiles on both of them, the cutting up and catching up! Two partners in crime, each having hearts bigger than Texas, Pipefitter egos so large that you wanted to nail 'em to a wall, but your love for both was just so much larger than the frustration! I will pray for God to gift you with being able to feel his presence, every time you think of him, miss him, need him. And understand this... he IS okay. And he will always know everything going on in your lives, able to comfort you when you need. There have been so many times when I've needed Daddy. And he's found ways... usually songs that come on the radio. It's very comforting, though it took years and years to accept the fact that I can't even pour him a cup of coffee. Keeping all y'all in my thoughts and prayers. {Hugs?}
Such a very kind hearted and lovely person.
Arlan I remember so many memories with you while growing up. Most of them with you and Lori at the camp ground and at pine flat lake. I know you are in many people's hearts and will be missed.
I am so sorry for the loss of your loved one, Arlan. It breaks our hearts when death separates us from the ones we love so much. The Bible reminds us that God sees our pain and sadness and has promised that soon, "death will be no more." (Revelation 21:4) He will heal our broken hearts by resurrecting our dear loved ones to life again. (Acts 24:15) Until then, I hope the wonderful memories of Arlan and these promises from God comfort you in the days to come.
Arlan was a dad to me. He took care of me from day one. Always making sure I was happy and had what I needed. I remember one time when I was in 7th grade, he surprised me one day after school on his motorcycle. Sitting there waiting for me with a great big smile (that I always loved), mind you also all suited up in his leather gear. At first I thought oh great!! Because the kids at school were making fun of me having to ride home on a motorcycle. The moment I was greeted by him that day with that huge smile while handing me that weird looking helmet, I thought to myself this is gonna be fun! After getting on the bike with him I could not stop smiling the whole way home. To this day I will never forget the way I felt that day on that motorcycle with that kind hearted, loving, caring, happy man. And many more memories of course. He took care of my mama, Lori and I. Most importantly helped our family through one of the toughest times in our life, that big smile got us through it all. I love you and will miss you dearly daddy Arlan, my Texas daddy. Thank you for all the great times and memories you left us with. Gone but never forgotten.
Love your daughter Tricia as he would call me TNT ?
So sad...my thoughts & prayers are with the family in this time of sorrow.
Rest in peace my brother until we ride again.
