Obituary

Mr. Bernard Aron Krakower, 91, passed away Thursday, May 26, 2016 at Andalusia Regional Hospital in Andalusia, AL.

Bernard, affectionately known as “Mr. B,” was born October 20, 1924 in Houston, Texas. He was the son of Eize and Bertha Krakower, who both predeceased him. Bernard was married to his loving wife, Doris, for 64 years. She died December 7, 2015. Bernard graduated from San Jacinto High School in Houston, Texas. He retired after 42 most enjoyable years from Walter Pye’s Menswear. He was a member of Congregation Emanu El from its beginning; also a Mason, and member of the Scottish Rite and El Mina Shrine, all of Houston.

Bernard’s family will receive visitors from 5:00 until 7:00 pm, Wednesday, June 1, at Malloy & Son Funeral Home in Galveston.

A graveside service will be held at 10:00 am, Thursday, June 2 at Emanu El Cemetery in Houston, TX, with Rabbi Roy Walter officiating the service.

He is survived by his niece, Sue (Ralph) Wells of Andalusia and 2 great nieces, Kristen Wells (Russell) Wiggins of Andalusia and Kimberly Wells of Anchorage, AK.
