Ed and Criss, Please know that Ms. Schroeder was very loved at Baywind Village. She was always witty and fun. She found her way into the hearts of many us us. Our thoughts and prayers are with you and your family. It was nice to see what dedicated and loving sons she raised, to stay in her daily life when things got tough. She will be missed.

Karen Barratt left a message on May 8, 2020:
My memories of Betty are so many as we were neighbors for almost 50 years. I admired her strength in the face of adversity and her ability to laugh at herself and bring joy to others. She was a wonderful, loving and staunchly defensive wife, mother and grandmother I’ll never forget her getting a FEMA trailer after Ike so that she could not be a burden to her family and of course have her ladies over for bridge and mahjong. She was in her eighties at that time and I was so impressed and boosted along in my own rebuilding by her tenacity. God has a special place for Betty. Rest In Peace my good friend.
