Sue Foshee Lee passed away November 19, 2017, at The Meridian in Galveston. She was born January 13, 1938, in Dallas, TX, to Bert and Gean Talley Foshee. Sue moved to Galveston at an early age and graduated from Ball High School. She was the Shrimp Bowl Queen and Coast Guard Sweetheart on Armed Forces Day in 1956. Sue worked at the Galveston Convention Center, and soon met her husband, Jack Lee, and together they started a family.
Sue was a kind, loving woman who took great care of her grandmother, mother, and husband in their time of need. She always put her family and friends first.
Sue was preceded in death by her parents, her husband, and her son, Terry Michael Lee.
She is survived by her devoted son, Randy J. Lee; and her sister, Myra Logan.
Sue’s family will receive visitors beginning at 10:00 am, Tuesday, November 28, 2017, at Malloy & Son Funeral Home. A funeral service will begin at 11:00 am, followed by burial at Galveston Memorial Park in Hitchcock.
Pallbearers will be Tony Scofelia, Greg Scofelia, Craig Giusti, Darrell Apffel, Charles Osmond, Jim Laird, and Bobby Hicks.
Honorary pallbearers will be Rusty Schaper, Frank Giusti, Gary Schaper, and Kevin Schirmer.
My mother would like to let you know that she moved on to a higher place. She received an invitation to a reunion with family and friends she has not seen in a long time. This will take her to a wonderful place where she will always be happy.
Mom, I will always love you and miss you and be proud to be your son.
