He joined the Marines in 1971 and served 4 years active duty.
Cruz is preceded in death by his wife, Rosemary Feigle Partida and his parents.
He is survived by his sisters Cris Guillen and Rosalinda Martinez.
Visitation will be at Malloy & Son Funeral Home on Tuesday, December 30, 2014 from 8:00 to 10:00 am with a rosary to follow. Burial will follow at Grace Memorial Cemetery in Hitchcock.
