Cynthia Angela “Cindy” Auzston-Flores, 46, of Galveston, passed away Tuesday, October 29, 2013 at her residence.
Her family will receive visitors from 10:00 AM to 12 noon, Monday, November 4, 2013 at Malloy & Son Funeral Home. Funeral services will follow at 12:00 noon with Pastor Sammy Alvarado officiating. Burial will be at Grace Memorial Park in Hitchcock, Texas.
Cindy was born October 3, 1967 in Galveston. She worked at GISD as a bus aide, the San Luis Hotel and Walmart. She loved spending time with her family, cooking and making people laugh. Cindy was a loving mother, wife, sister, aunt and friend. She never met a stranger. She was an amazing person.
Cindy was preceded in death by her parents, Joseph “Sonny” and Judy Auzston; grandparents; and her ex-husband and the father of her son, Felipe Flores.
She is survived by her son, Phillip Flores; husband, Javier Casas; sisters; Tammy Lynn Auzston and Belinda Leigh Auzston-Sevinsky; nieces, nephews and great nephews: Tiffany and Jonathan Elfstrom, Marissa, Victoria and Judith Sevinsky, Jayden Richardson and Jonathan “Aayden” Elfstrom, numerous aunts, uncles and cousins.
The family wishes to extend special thanks to the UTMB 5th Floor C&D Oncology Department.
