Dorllyne Boyle, 82, of Galveston, passed away Tuesday, October 17, 2017, at Gamble’s Personal Touch Care Facility. She was born August 9, 1935 in Brenham, TX and graduated from Ball High School.  Dorllyne worked for John W. Harris (deceased) for several years.  After retiring, she enjoyed being with her animals as well as shopping and working in the yard.  She was a very loving and caring mother.

Dorllyne was preceded in death by her parents, Edward and Dorothy Martin, and husband, William F. Boyle.

She is survived by her son, Michael Smith; son, Jeffrey Boyle and wife, Mary; daughter, Pamela Nelson and husband, Michael; grandchildren: James and Rebecca Nelson; and great grandchildren; sisters, Sherry Land and husband, Neil, and Judy Rizzo; and numerous other relatives and friends.

Dorllyne’s family will receive visitors from 10:00 am until 12:00 noon on Saturday, October 21, 2017, at Malloy & Son Funeral Home. Burial will take place at a later date.

In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to Heart of Texas Hospice, the Galveston Island Humane Society, or the charity of your choice.

Dorllyne’s family would like to extend special thanks to the Gamble Personal Touch Care Team and to Heart of Texas Hospice.

Sorry for your loss. Your mother was a wonderful lady. I use to attend meetings with her when she worked at the parish of St. Mary's Cathedral. May you find comfort in knowing that she is in the presence of God's loving hands. My thoughts and prayers are with you in this time of sorrow.
