Like this candle, Dorothy was a shining light to many people that she came in contact with.

Oh my word, I have been thinking of Dorothy. And how many times I have googled her name, and now it pops up. I am so sorry for everyones loss. I know she is with the Lord and that is a much better place. Back in the early 90's, I applied for a job as a clerk typist through the unemployment agency in Galveston, TX. I was sent over to interview with Dorothy at Schurig & Company in Galveston. She was such a sweet and fantastic boss to work with. We had good times working together. She was a friend and like a big sister to me.
