Obituary

Mrs. Eve Molina Yeager passed away on May 23, 2015, at the age of 85. Eve was born in Beeville, Texas on April 21, 1930. She was a devoted mother, grandmother, and great grandmother. She was also a devout Catholic. Eve loved music and dancing.

Mrs. Yeager is preceded in death by her parents, Sostenos Molina and Ada (Latham) Molina; brothers, Johnny, Jimmy, Fred, and Toby; sisters, Mary, Chavela, Lucy, Rosie, and Delia. Eve is the last of the Molina family of eleven.

She is survived by her husband, Michael Drager; daughter, Lynda Bates (David) of Galveston; sons, Jesse Martinez (Nikki) of Hawaii; E.B. Jaurique, Jr. (Alli) of Galveston; Edward Michael Moore of Galveston; and Thomas Leslie Moore, III (Donna) of Galveston; grandchildren: David Bates, Jr. (Rachel Taylor) of Austin; Charles Talbert Bates of Galveston; Alexander Martinez of Galveston; Josh Jaurique (Vena) of Fairfield, Iowa; Brandon Jaurique of Galveston; Nina Moore of Galveston; Thomas Leslie Moore IV (Miranda) of Austin; Jessica Moore (Jeremiah Oliver) of Galveston; great grandchildren: Jeremiah Oliver, Jr., Thomas Leslie Moore V, E.B. Joshua Jaurique IV, and Rosa Jaurique; numerous nieces and nephews; and her furry friend, Tiger.

Eve’s family will receive visitors beginning at 5:00 pm, Thursday, May 28th, at Malloy & Son Funeral Home. A rosary will begin at 6:00 pm.

Funeral Mass will be 10:00 am, Friday, May 29th, at St. Patrick Catholic Church with entombment following at Calvary Catholic Cemetery Mausoleum.

Pallbearers will be David Bates, Jr., Charles T. Bates, Thomas Leslie Moore, IV, Brandon Jaurique, David Bates, Sr., and Jeremiah Oliver.

Honorary pallbearers will be Thomas Leslie Moore III and Edward Michael Moore.

Eve was one of the toughest ladies I have ever met. She would do anything for her kids and grandkids. I owe her for many of things she did for me when I lived in Galveston and she taught me alot. She will be missed.
