Flora Marie Strickhausen was born July 18, 1928, in Galveston, Texas, and passed away on April 6, 2022.
She graduated from Ball High School and worked for the Santa Fe Railroad for 30 years in the payroll department.
Flora Marie was an accomplished photographer, musician, and ham radio operator. She was a world traveler, loved art and music. She was one of the few women—often the only woman— involved in many of the groups she joined.
She was a devout Catholic and always scheduled her world travels around a location where she could attend mass.
She was preceded in death by her parents, Harry Strickhausen, Sr. and Flora Strickausen, and by her brother, Harry Strickhausen, Jr. She is survived by many cousins, nieces and nephews.
A memorial service will be scheduled at a later date.
