Obituary

Frances Ayers Korman Crawford passed from this life on Sunday, November 25, 2012 at Ocean View Health Care in Texas City, TX.

Mrs. Crawford was born September 25, 1920 in Greenville, New York to the late Mabel Harlor Ayers Hayes and Cooper Ayers. After living most of her life in Westtown, New York, she moved to Galveston in 2005 to be near her Texas daughters. She was a regular at Libbie’s Place for many years.

She was predeceased by two husbands, William Korman and Wesley Crawford, three sisters and six brothers.

She is survived by three daughters, Vera (Ronald) Goodrich of Middletown, New York; Joan (Ronald) Rust of Galveston, Texas; and Betty A. Korman of Houston, Texas. Two step-sons, Richard (Rose) Crawford of New Fairfield, Conn and Gordie (Pam) Crawford of St. Petersburg, FL. Seven grandchildren and fourteen great-grandchildren.

Local arrangements were handled by Malloy & Son Funeral Home. Visitation will be Friday, November 30, 2012 at Ralston, Lippincott, Hasbrouck, Ingrassia Funeral Home, 72 West Main Street, Middletown, New York. A celebration of Frances’ life will be held the next day at 10 am at the funeral home with burial immediately following.
