Frank Giusti, Sr. a first-generation Galvestonian, was born to Italian immigrant parents, Adolfo and Marianna Meschi Giusti on September 5, 1927, on this little island which he loved. Frank was a man of devotion: devotion to his faith, his family, his country, and his friends. He found joy in the simple things in life andContinue Reading

Rev. Al Doering left a message on June 1, 2022:
My father, Curtis Doering, was born in Galveston in September 1927, 2 weeks after Frank Giusti. My dad told me stories of Frank as a baseball player. I don't believe he and Frank ever met, but the character of Frank was always positively communicated in the way my father described him. It was good to read Frank's obituary which described his association with the Christian faith. I too am a BOI. I am also a follower of Jesus. I want the family to know how Frank's witness to his faith is a blessing to others.
Dr. Keith & Diane Belamy left a message on April 27, 2022:

Camille (Scrafone) Sweigart left a message on April 26, 2022:
Gloria: It is with sadness and peace that I learned about Frank's passing. Sad because a wonderful individual will not walk among us but peace because I know he is with our Lord. Daddy and Frank were in business together and I always thought Frank was a part of our family. Know that my husband and I are lifting you and your family in prayer. God be with you. Camille Sweigart, Marble Falls, Texas

I am sending thoughts and prayers to your family. I have such fond memories of Coach Giusti and the O'Connell baseball team! He taught us Diamond Darling a lot about baseball, especially how to keep the book! It really helped me when both my boys played ball. Love to your family. Margaret Lucas Snyder

One of a kind! What a wonderful man. Old school all the way. As cool as a cucumber. Talk about a baseball guy? How many guys get a street at the local ballpark named for them? You could hear it in his voice…he loved baseball. Thanks for impacting me Mr. Giusti!

"A good coach can change a game. A great coach can change a life". -John Wooden There's no telling how many lives were changed by Coach Giusti. I was not lucky enough to ever be coached by him, but I was lucky enough to know him for more than half of my life. I will always treasure his wit and wisdom, and he will be missed by so many that he touched. RIP Mr. Giusti.
