To the family of Gino Haugh Sorry for Loss. My heart aches for the loss of my friend and the one who believed in me and told me over and over again that I was gonna be a No matter what Club. That no matter what I never have to use again. And that If I needed to talk or cry or tell my deepest secrets I could come to him anytime and He would keep it in to himself. And because of him I'll pick 24 years Clean and sober on Sept. 17th. God Bless him. He saved my life. RIP
Thank you for your service! You will be missed by many. Thank you for staying clean.

Gino meant a lot to me and my early recovery period I heard him speak when I had less than 30 days clean. He and my late sponsor, Doc. C were good friends, so you know was a part of my recovery early on. He embodied the spiritual values I want, and gave me hope that I can achieve them. You and all my recovery elders have a great meeting in heaven till I join you bro...much love....Ty C. 3/26/1990
Will always love and remember you Gino!

Thanks Gino for your unconditional love an acceptance I will truly miss you, there nobody I know who accepted me so freely in the beginning of my journey, others talked about the love you showed it to me, an for that I'm truly greatful, it took along time for me to surrender you treated me the same regardless of the situation for me that's a God given gift everyone don't have the ability to love like that that why I'm greatful an will always be greatful to have had you be a part of my journey.....
Will be forever grateful that you made the decision to keep coming back for people like me LOVES YA BIG

I first met Gino at Lake Whitney at a Texas Unity Convention about six years ago. I had just moved to Houston from Minnesota. The people who brought me to Whitney said I had to meet Gino. They practically dragged me over to him. I introduced myself, and we sat and had a nice chat for an hour or so. My favorite Gino story goes as follows: He told me that his first name was Bill, but that everyone called him Gino. (Gino was a running buddy from back in the day who had died, and Bill took on his name in honor of his fallen friend.) In memory of a fallen friend...
Jimmy C. told me his favorite Gino story. Gino said, "(Referring to the fellowship...) It's a love story. We love you, and there is nothing you can do about it."
After that Whitney we met sometimes at meetings, and sometimes at fellowship functions. At every regional convention there is a clean time count down. Normally Gino was the one with the most time. He was always there to give me a hug and support when I got up during the countdown. I didn't have very many predecessors before, and now there is one less.
The man gave good hugs. I will miss him.
God brought home the sweetest earth angel ive ever met .. He has a new assignment for you Gino, you did such a fabulous job with the earth assignment,He's got something beautiful in store for you. Until we meet again my friend..
P.S. I finally did it Gino, I picked up my desire tag today, i could feel your presence all around me. I'm sure of it that you are my guardian angel. Rest my sweet friend, I'm sorry I worried you all of these months, I'm going to fight like a girl and kick some disease butt. I love you like crazy ... Thank you for being a part of my journey on both the good sides, and the not so pretty side's of it. Save me a seat Pops!
A life well lived! Thank you for helping so many.
