My deepest condolences to the family for the loss of a great man. He was the best math teacher I ever had (Galveston College, 1980s). He had a great sense of humor, was always willing to help, and had an awesome understanding of each of his students' individual needs. I hope his example lives on through others. He most definitely left a mark on my life and gave me a love for algebra that will never die.
