Isla Rose Henning was born on the 21st of June 2020 at 11:08PM. She took her final breath while lying peacefully in her mother’s arms a few minutes after she entered this world.
Isla Rose was surrounded by love from the moment she was conceived to the moment her body left this world. She never knew anything but love and joy.
While her life was crushingly short, her impact on this world is larger than life. Her strength to hold on despite a lethal diagnosis inspired all who learned of her life.
Isla will continue to spread her light and love through her parents and all who know them. She is their greatest teacher, and will forever be their gift of time and unwavering love.
Isla is survived by her parents, Jonathan and Elizabeth Henning. Her grandparents Daryl and Colleen Hancock, Linda Henning and Daryl Kupper, and Jeff and Tess Henning. She is also survived by her uncles, Ethan Hancock and Jacob Henning and her aunt Rachel Arledge, in addition to several great-grandparents, dozens of cousins, and extended family and friends.
Isla is joined in heaven by her maternal great-grandparents Heze and Dolores McCuan, who are already showering her with eternal love and affection as she awaits the day she can be with her parents once again.
