My memories of Johnny come from his childhood when my children played with him,his sisters and his brothers. He and my daughter were days apart in age and she always said he was her first friend, who was a BOY. Johnny had a sweetness about him that has always stayed in my memory and I could still see his little boy face in a recent picture. It was with God's grace that my daughter and Johnny reconnected, as friends, during the final days of his life. They last had contact as children but resumed their friendship as if they had been together on a neighborhood adventure the day before. I’m grateful that God brought them together again and believe Johnny was too. Rest in peace dear Johnny.
