It was with great sadness to read of your father's passing. I haven't seen Carolyn in over 30 years, and Henry, even longer. In fact, since Rebecca was about 6 months old.

Every year my mother would pile us up in the car and drive from Waco to Galveston to visit Uncle Julian and Aunt Maimi and the kids. These were some of the most fun and hilarious days of my life. There were always big kids to play with, kids your age and babies to tote around on your hip. Uncle Julian's house was always a fun place to be and I shall miss him and my aunt for the rest of my days. It was so much fun to return the hospitality in 1985 when Uncle Julian and Aunt Maimi came to San Francisco to visit. I remember taking them by a house that had The Beatles painted all over the entire house. Aunt Maimi took a picture of it and told me that she was going to show it to Rosemary and tell her that "that's where Patti lives" because I had embarrassed her when I was screaming during a screening of "A Hard Day's Night"!! I shall miss my aunt and uncle for the rest of my life. I love you Uncle Julian and thanks for the memories. Love from you niece, Patti x
