Kenny was a dear friend of more than 35 years. Words can't express my sorrow to Andrea and his family. Whenever I needed him, Kenny was always there for me. We shared many good times; Hockey games, Baseball games, Holidays; Christmas, New Years Eve and too many more to list. I spent Kenny's first night in New Orleans with him where we called Andrea from Bourbon Street. I'll miss Kenny. You may call him many things; a Veteran, a gambler, an oil field worker, car salesman, fisherman, Captain, TV star, brother, son, husband...but to me there is only one word that sums up what Kenny was to me...Friend.
Peace of mind is a call away. We’re here when you need us most.

I'll always remember the Cockroach races and my chicken crap bingo game. We had a great time that day. We had a heck of a time getting the chicken , then we had to go hunt cockroaches. It will always be a good memory. No one ever believes the story but those of us who were there.
Rachelle King left a message on January 25, 2020:
I was thinking of how Repo used to show up at the bar looking for Kenny. Repo used to always go to Streeters, but one time he showed up at Strand Street Saloon. I called Katie's Seafood and told Kenny . Kenny laughed and came and got him. It was funny because Kenny had stopped by earlier, but how did that dang dog know how to get there. It was just what Repo did. Now they are together again. Going to miss you Kenny. Rachelle

It was a blessing to have met Kenny. We have been regulars at Katie's Fish Market since it began and on many occasions our paths would cross. It has been about a year since I saw Kenny in front of Katie's. He shared with me his health problems, but as always, that wonderful happy smile was still there and he was optimistic about his tomorrows. Please know the Guindon family, especially Andrea and Buddy, have our deepest sympathy. Kenny has found a new "sea" with our Lord.
