Lauren Marie Brim, 21, of Crystal Beach Texas, passed away peacefully into the arms of Jesus on the morning of March 27, 2018, surrounded by her family. She was born in Houston, TX, lived in Lewisville, TX until 2007, and then moved to Crystal Beach. She attended Crenshaw School, graduated from Galveston Ball High in 2015 and attended Galveston Community College.

Lauren is survived by her son, Aiden Christopher; mom, C. Marie Schulz; dad, Michael W. Brim; stepdad, Jim Vratis; brothers, Cory and Noah Brim; stepbrothers Brad, Thomas and Curtis; mamaw, Carmen Schulz; grandparents, Gary Brim and Kathy; aunts, uncles, cousins and many friends all whom she loved dearly.

Her parents would like to thank all her doctors, nurses and others who provided her care during her illness.

A private service will be held for her family and a celebration of life for friends will be held in Crystal Beach at a later date.

Lauren loved her son with all her heart, and he was a blessing in her life. She loved her family dearly. She was a beautiful, kind-hearted, caring young lady with big, beautiful blue eyes who passed too early from this life.

In lieu of flowers, her parents request donations be made to her son, Aiden C. Richardson, at Texas First Bank or to the Galveston Humane Society, which Lauren enjoyed visiting. Our Biscuit will truly be missed.

My condolences to the family. May Jehovah God give you comfort from his word the Bible. At John 5:28,29 Jehovah gives us the hope of seeing our loved ones again here on earth. Acts 24:15 also shows us what is in the future for our loved ones. Families will reunite at that time and there will be no more suffering or pain or sadness. Revelation 21:3,4. Until that day I pray that Jehovah willl give you the strength you need.

Lauren had Jesus in her heart ~ that I know. I met Lauren (12yrs. old) when she 1st moved to Crystal Beach @ “Kids for Christ”. Lauren’s glowing smile & sparkling blue eyes brightened up her Unity Youth, VBS & Remnant gatherings. She always wanted to help, loved her crafts and was a peace maker. May Lauren’s sweet gentle spirit live on in all your hearts& her ❤️Baby, Aiden. May God’s Grace& Peace comfort your family during this sad time. Thinking& praying for your comfort~ Gerry Lang “May the Lord of Peace Himself give you Peace at all times & in every way” 2 Thes 3:16

Lauren literally lit up a room. Her compassion, kindness, and dedication to help others is contagious. She really was a person that changed the world. One person can make a difference, and Lauren's heart always did. She was a gift, and her continual desire to learn and help others will carry on. I am truly saddened about her passing. While the condolences won't help ease the pain of such a loss, please know that Lauren left behind a plethora of people who she helped change spanning from kids she mentored in her BESTT program throughout all of GISD to friends, classmates, and teachers she inspired. I will miss her random texts where she would just text just to say I was thinking about you, and I will miss her love of life and possibilities. She is a gift to all of us, and I hope that knowing she impacted so many people on a positive and inspirational level will help ease some of the pain that you are enduring.
