Marc and I had the honor of meeting Joe and Margie as they made their way to the Mainland. They visited our model home, along with their family. We had the great honor of building their custom home in Santa Fe. After many years of being in the building business, the Alessi’s were truly one of our favorite clients. We had kept in contact with Margie over the years, and heartbroken to hear of her passing. There are not many people that you come across as wonderful as Margie (and Joe). Thank you for the honor of being a part of the Alessi’s journey! May God bless all of you with peace :)

Dear Alessi Family and Friends, My Dearest sympathies for Mrs. Margie Alessi's passing. I have had the joy to share Christmas with your family as Santa Claus since the 1980's. Your Father and Grand Dad, Mr. Alessi and your Mother and Grandmother Margie included me in your annual family Christmas celebrations. I have had the distinct pleasure to see the Love of your family and that shown from your Dear Mother and Grandmother to her family all of these years. She has always been very kind to me and expressed her kindness to my family and Mother as we are former Galvestonians. May She Rest in Peace with the Lord. I share my family's sympathies at this time to your family. Sincerely, Bobby Schwager, (Santa)

Margie was a boon to our Libbie's Place board, our "Catholic Connection" and a fine one too! She brought wisdom and enthusiasm to our meetings and functions for many wonderful years. Her family was her treasure, but she gave to Libbie's and other places with her heart too! Rest In Peace dear Margie, I am glad I knew you! Beverly McCormick

Mimi was salt of the earth - she gave it flavor and preserved the lives around her by the blessing she was to them. Her grand daughter Megan is a part of my village. I am so grateful for the legacy Mimi passed down to her family and the gift Megan is to me. At Reed & Cole’s birthday party last year I was chasing my oldest two and also had a newborn. Mimi didn’t take no for an answer and put my baby in her arms and he was settled - and that was that. I am forever grateful for that moment. And I imagine right now our father is doing the same with Mimi, and she is settled. So many prayers and blessings to her family. Such a fine group of people that I am honored to know. My deepest condolences, Kayla Skinner

When I went to work caring for Mr. Joe, Mrs. Margie made me and my children feel like a part of their family. After Mr. Joe passed and I went on my way to finish nursing school Mrs. Margie was there to cheer me on. She always applauded all of my accomplishments throughout the years. I’m so happy she got to meet my little one last year, and I have that memory saved. Mrs. Margie was the BEST!! She will truly be missed. My prayers are with you all. You have two beautiful angels now that I loved both dearly. Love, Jennifer
