I am so sorry to hear about Mrs. Suderman. I was an honorary member of this family for many many years, beginning with my grandmother Minerva Brown through my father Frank "Pitchie" Washington to my mother Irene Washington. She was the most wonderful woman. She was always a happy lady and a pleasure to speak with. I will never forget walking in my mothers house when my grandmother passed away and I found Mrs. Suderman sitting my dads bedside waiting for one of us to come home and be with him. Since the hurricane I have thought of her on many occasions and wondered where she had moved to. Brother, Kathy and the rest of the family, please know that you have my deepest condolences and are in my heart.

Don, Becky, Melissa and all, Jane lived a great life and made an impression on people layers beyond what she may have realized. I pray you enjoy her legacy of strength and graciousness for years to come.
