Michael Dennis Drager, 69, of Galveston, passed away Tuesday, September 15, 2015, at Mainland Medical Center in Texas City. He was born August 5, 1946, in Mexia, Texas. He served his country in the US Navy during the Vietnam War and worked as a CPA for many years.

Michael was preceded in death by his wife, Eve Yeager; and parents, Glenn and Freddie Drager.

He is survived by his brother, Patrick Drager; sister, Melinda Filidei; niece, Dana Leach; and his wife, Eve’s children: Linda Bates and husband, David; Jesse Martinez and wife, Nikkie; E. B. Jaurique; Thomas L. Moore, III; and Edward Michael Moore; eight grandchildren; and two great grandchildren.

Graveside service will be 1:00 pm, Friday, September 25th, at Calvary Catholic Cemetery in Galveston.

My son & I met Mr. Drager 11 years ago when he began doing my taxes for me. We always enjoyed coming to see him & his puppies. And he always had a really interesting story for his treasures he kept close to him in his office & home. I will miss those stories the most. We send our many prayers to his family.
