Lisa Conley Stapleton left a message on November 30, -0001:
Even though I have not had the good fortune to spend a lot of time with my Uncle J.P., he has always held a special place in my heart. My mother, Jettie Lee McCutchen, his older sister, loved Uncle J.P. dearly and will be very sad not to hear his voice again. Since age no longer allows my mother’s hand to convey her thoughts onto paper, I am sharing her love for Uncle J.P. in her place. He was the one person my mother always respected and loved above all others beyond her own children. They shared a special bond, even at a distance. My fondest memories of Uncle J.P. are of his smile and laugh. He and my mother shared that same smile, as I remember noticing even as a child. He was a kind, generous soul, and I loved him, too. Thank you for being a strong example for my mother and for me, Uncle JP. May you have peace, love, and joy in your new home. Even though we will miss you here, please continue to look over us with you mother and with PawPaw, and never forget that we love you. Love, Lisa (and Jettie Lee)
