Annette was born in Lakeland, Florida on December 6, 1947.   She then moved to Galveston, Texas with her family in 1953.  Annette married Larry Puccetti in 1972.  She worked as a preschool teacher and director, and then was a stay at home mom.  Finally, she worked as a clerk for Galveston County, where she eventually retired as chief deputy.  Annette was a devoted wife and mother, a loving sister, and a fun and caring grandmother.  She loved her husband, Larry, unconditionally and cared for him, day and night, while he battled cancer.  Her favorite thing in the world was to spend time and support her grandkids in all their activities.

Annette was preceded in death by her husband Lawrence (Larry) Puccetti; father, Hugh Lawrie Yon; mother, Emma Louise (Schneider) Yon; and father-in-law, Raymond (Sonny) Puccetti.

She is survived by her son, Ronnie Puccetti and wife, Erika; son, Michael Puccetti and loved one, Jennifer Ellis; grandchildren: Devin Puccetti, Alexis Puccetti, Dylan Puccetti, and Nolan Puccetti; sister with whom Annette was especially close, Barbara Pistone and husband, Vincent; mother-in-law, Marie Puccetti; brothers-in-Law, Jimmy Puccetti and wife, Dianna; Jerry Puccetti and wife, Mary; and Raymond Puccetti and wife, Michele; loved ones Peyton and Tyler Gibson; and numerous nieces, nephews, relatives, and friends.

Annette’s family will receive friends after 5:00 pm, Thursday, August 3rd, at Malloy & Son Funeral Home.  A rosary will be held at 6:30, led by Deacon John Pistone.

Funeral Mass will be 10:00 am, Friday, August 4th, at St. Mary’s Cathedral Basilica with Father Chacko Puthumayil as Celebrant. Burial will follow the service at Galveston Memorial Park in Hitchcock.

Deepest Sympathy to Annett's family for her loss. I will always miss her nice smile, cheerful hello and the many laughs we shared in my drive on a Friday or Saturday evening. She did so enjoy those outings, and always had a funny story to share with the group while looking into the fire pit and having a beer or glass of wine. Annette will be remembered as the kind hearted neighbor that truly was proud of her sons and grandchildren. Please celebrate this event in the style she would most approve of. A celebration of life and not of her passing. She was too classy for anything less.

You will always have a special place in our hearts. Because of your willingness to unlock the doors to your office and allow us to buy our marriage license, we were able to get married. We just celebrated our 47th anniversary. We will pray for you and Barbara and know that you have been reunited with your husband. God bless you all. Harold and Mary Ann Eskew
