Dan and I met in NYC in the elevator of the building we both lived in. We immediately became fast friends and spent many wonderful times together. When we both moved back down South many years later, we reconnected and picked up right where we left off. Dan was so multi-talented—a kind and wonderful man that is missed and loved by many.

I only just learned of Dan's passing this past February. I will always cherish our New York years together. He really was a friend and loved honestly. I'm so sorry we did not have a chance to re-connect these past few years since we both were back in Texas. He had a writer's eye and I always expected him to launch a career as a playwright or journalist. I am glad he found his way to nursing - I bet he was wonderful at it. God bless and keep him in His gentle care.

I worked with Danny, Tim and their Dad on Summer break in late 70's and early 80's. Danny was a great person, extremely helpful to us younger guys. So very sorry.

So very sorry to read of Danny’s passing - you will always be Danny to me. We grew up together there in Alta Loma/Arcadia and shared many a dream, many a hurt and many a good time. I apologize for not having kept up the friendship these last few years - you had a very good heart and a courage of your convictions that you rarely ever allowed yourself to acknowledge. I thank you for loving me always. My condolences to your family.
