Phyllis Ann O’Donohoe Nebout, 52, passed away on Friday, September 16th, 2016 at Gulf Health Care Center. She was born January 27th, 1964 in Galveston, Texas and won the Galveston Miss Splash Day Contest when she was only three years old.
In Phyllis’s lifetime, she worked as waitress and as a cake decorator for Gino’s Bakery and Cathy’s Catering. She was extremely gifted with her own personal cake designs and would always volunteer to make cakes for her family and friends because she loved her family and friends so much. Phyllis also was very gifted in any decorating, craft making, crocheting, gardening, and cooking. She loved decorating for the holidays and would cook enormous meals to feed everyone, especially those friends that she would invite over who had nowhere else to go for a holiday meal. Phyllis loved to serve God above all else and she counted on Him to see her though the final days of her life. She looked forward to her final destination in heaven to be with Jesus and her family there.
Phyllis Ann’s love of God, family and friends was the center of her spirit. Her sense of humor, generosity, kindness, and love were the greatest gifts she gave to others. Her family, friends, and all those who knew and loved her, especially, her beloved friend, Rhonda Garrison, will sadly miss her.
Phyllis was preceded in death by her son, Jonathan Christian Moore; her father, George O’Donohoe Sr.; her twin sister, Mary O’Donohoe; her brother, George O’Donohoe Jr.; grandparents, and numerous uncles, aunts, and cousins.
