We loved sitting with Mr. Brown on his porch sharing stories and mostly laughing. We only knew him for a short time but it felt like a lifetime. We will miss his friendly smile and laughter but rejoice that he is in a better place with our Lord. Our sincere sympathy to the entire family. Jeff, Missy, and Camryn

My thoughts and prayers with Glenda, Ricky, Deborah and everyone. I wish I could be there to see the Admiral off on his final voyage. I know the island will never be the same but his memories, stories and character will live forever through all of us. Picture him standing at the Pearly Gates, hands up in the air as the words " I ain't lying now....." God Bless you R. Brown.
