Rose was a great math teacher and I learned quite a bit from her as did her students. Peace

My heartfelt sympathy goes out to the family. Rose and I taught science together at Stephen F. Austin Middle School back when I first began teaching. It was doing the "Open Concept Teaching Era" and our classrooms were divided by only a large wooden chalkboard. She was so kind and supportive. Rose moved to another campus, many years passed and I never saw here again until this past year. I ran into her in Kroger's and she looked exactly the same! I still the set of crystal she gave me for a wedding gift many moons back. I thank God I got to see her that last time. Love you Rose.

My condolences to the family, Ms. Carroll was my teacher at Stephen F Austin and I really appreciate her. She cared a lot about her students as she was patient with us to help us learn. May she rest peacefully.

I would like to express my heartfelt sympathy to the family for the loss of your dear Rose. I hope that you will find comfort in the words of Jesus at John 5:28,29 where he promised that the day is coming when he is going to resurrect back to life those in the grave. And they will be brought back to a beautiful paradise earth with no more sickness. (Psalm 37:11,29) (Isaiah 33:24) Until then, it is just like your dear Rose is sleeping. (John 11:11-13) May your family draw strength from Jehovah, the God of all Comfort.

Sister Rose Marie is what daddy called you, and that’s been your name all my life. I truly wish we had been a closer family, but I will always treasure the times I got to visit you on 8th street. I know you’re having a blast with daddy now and in a much more beautiful place. Until we meet again Rest In Peace. Love and prayers for all. Jennie “Meyer” Latham
