Obituary

Sharon Lynn Karbowski Beggs, 67, formerly of Galveston, passed away Saturday, June 10, 2017, at her home in Huntsville, TX. Sharon was born September 2, 1949, in Galveston, TX, and graduated from Ball High School.  She worked for the School of Allied Science at UTMB and later retired from the Texas Department of Criminal Justice.

Sharon was preceded in death by her son, Scott Key; daughter, Ginger Key Davis; and mother, Dorothy Karbowski.

She is survived by her husband, Leslie Beggs; sons, Joseph and Kyle Key; stepdaughters, Lynn Jones and LeAnn Maroney; and numerous grandchildren and other relatives and friends.

Graveside service will be 1:00 pm, Friday, June 16, 2017, at Lakeview Cemetery in Galveston.

The family wishes to extend special thanks to Thee Hospice of Huntsville for their compassionate care.
