Susan Antonelli passed away on Tuesday, January 7, 2014, at home among family.
Susan was born on February 28th 1953 in Houston Texas to Louise B. Antonelli and Maurizio B. Antonelli.
She is survived by her husband, John Walker; her brother, Jeff Antonelli and wife Cynthia; sister, Becky Moreno and husband Manuel; nieces, Jessica Antonelli, Francesca “Chicca” Antonelli, and Kelsey Moreno; nephews, Andrew Antonelli and Mitchell Moreno; cousins, Michael Thomas and wife Reena Sommer-Thomas of League City, Colette Worm and husband Jim of McLean, VA, Linda Treadway of Dallas and Curt Matthias of Clearlake, Federica Francese and Michele Boroni of San Giovanni alla Vena Italy; mother-in-law, Susan Walker; and brothers-in-law, Mark Walker and Brian Walker.
Susan was a Ball High graduate and received her bachelor’s degree from Austin College in Sherman, TX. Susan was the President of Travel Counselors in Galveston, was a CTC, and a world traveler. Susan was an avid and artful gardener and in 2013 received her Master Gardener’s Certificate. It was her pleasure to have served on the Board of Galveston’s Ronald McDonald House.
Visitation will be Friday, January 10th from 5:00 to 7:00 pm at Malloy & Son Funeral Home. A service to celebrate her life will begin at 2:00 pm, Saturday, January 11th at the funeral home with Deacon Sam Dell’Olio officiating. Graveside services will follow at Calvary Cemetery.
Pallbearers will be Andrew Antonelli, Mitchell Moreno, Michael Thomas, Manuel Moreno Jr., Sonny Vaiani, and Ivan Robidoux.
