Zeferino Cuello, 63, passed away Tuesday, July 16, 2013, at Mainland Medical Center in Texas City. He was born March 20, 1950 in Mexico. He worked as a longshoreman for many years before his retirement. Zeferino, known as “El Gallero,” enjoyed raising chickens and working in his yard. He had a green thumb and could grow just about anything. He was always the life of the party and loved the time he spent with family and friends.
Zeferino is survived by his wife, Mary; sons, Erasmo Cuello and wife, Jill, and Seferino Cuello, Jr.; the mother of his children, Olivia Cuello; and numerous sisters, brothers, grandchildren, nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.
Zeferino’s family will receive visitors beginning at 5:00 pm, Saturday, July 20th, at Malloy & Son Funeral Home. A rosary will begin at 6:30 pm.
Rest in peace, El Gallero. You will be missed.
